01 · The problem

Your research stack is fragmented. Every handoff loses context.

draft + rebuild

Your library knows the paper. Your PDF reader knows the highlighted paragraph. Your notes know the question. Your AI chat often knows none of it. By the time you draft, you are re-copying quotes, re-pasting citations, and reconstructing why a source mattered.

01 / Context

Highlights, notes, sources, and chat history live apart, so each tool sees only a slice of the work.

02 / Evidence

Quotes and citations get moved by hand, which makes drafting slower and easier to distrust.

03 / Momentum

Every switch asks you to reload the thread of thought before you can keep thinking.

02 · Features

Everything your research needs, connected.

03 · A session

How a research session actually feels.

step 01

Sync Zotero

Bring in your library, collections, tags, metadata, and attachments without rebuilding your system.

step 02

Highlight the PDF

Read in place, mark the evidence, and keep annotations connected to the exact source they came from.

step 03

Ask with context

Ask about selected papers, notes, and highlights. The assistant works from your actual research material.

step 04

Insert the citation

Draft in notes, mention related work inline, and cite directly from the library while the argument is still forming.

step 05

Export the manuscript

Choose your format and citation style. Mindwork generates the citations and bibliography when you are ready.

06 · Questions
Does Mindwork replace Zotero?

No. Zotero remains your source of truth for references. Mindwork connects to your Zotero library, surfaces it inside the workspace, and writes annotations and metadata back so nothing is locked in. If you leave Mindwork, your Zotero library is intact.

What citation styles do you support?

APA, MLA, Chicago (author-date), Chicago (notes & bibliography), Vancouver, IEEE, and more. If you have a specific style you need, let us know — we can add it.

Where does the AI run, and what does it do with my work?

It runs on model providers' servers. The assistant only reads what you point it at — your library, your notes, and the document you're currently viewing. We do not train models on your data.

What happens when I run out of AI credits?

Pro includes $4 of usage every month. If you need more before the cycle resets, you can top up credits without changing your plan. We show usage in real time so you always know where you stand.

Can I import notes from Notion or Obsidian?

Yes. Mindwork imports Markdown directly.

What about teams and shared libraries?

Group libraries from Zotero are supported. Shared note-editing for teams is in private testing — contact us if you'd like access.
